Merry Christmas to all!!!

Because of the prevailing economic condition, my friend Santa (shown above with his top reindeer, Rudy, who looks just so happy to work with his boss), has gone down to only about 200 pounds in weight! He did not disclose how much he initially weighed before the winter of our economic discontent started, which forced him to cut down on his calorie intake. But he added that despite all this, the show must go on! He further said that if you’ve been nice the whole year through, then you’ll definitely get a knock on your door (if you don’t have a chimney) to receive the gifts you so most deserved! I asked Santa why he skimped on his food and not on the copiousness of his gifts. He replied that this is the season for giving, that it is his calling and that “it is better to give than to receive”! Plus, he said he received some bailout money from undisclosed sources to aid his gift-giving mission. So don’t be surprised if you get a knock on your door– or a guest through your chimney– and revealed a much thinner Santa! Just remember, children, that Jesus is the reason for the season and that when it comes to receiving gifts, it’s always the thought that counts! 1. I hope those “undisclosed sources” better provide US taxpayers with a proper accounting of the bailout funds they received soon. 😀

Just stopped by to say hi and wish you a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year too. Thanks. 🙂

    • Hi, panaderos! Thank you for visiting my blog!
Lol. You’re right! Them “undisclosed sources” better provide the taxpayers a proper accounting, or they may all get written over– as embezzlers…haha! Santa is clueless when it comes to money. I bet Rudolf knows better, especially when his nose glows a bright red. When that happens, Rudolf leads the way and Santa just– well– follows!
A Blessed, Merry Christmas and a Prosperous, Peaceful, Happy New Year to you, too, panaderos!!!
